James Hardie's Hardibacker Cement Board with Moldblock is constructed from a durable, fiber-cement composition that won't swell, peak at the joints or deteriorate when exposed to moisture. Hardibacker 1/2 in. board provides a smooth transition to 1/2 in. drywall and may be painted, papered or tiled.
