VG Fir

VG Fir Canyon Creek Cabinet Company recently introduced Vertical Grain (VG) Fir as a standard wood species offering to its Millennia frameless cabinetry line. Classified as a softwood, this beautiful, northwest coastal species is lightweight with a clear, straight grain and comes in varying degrees of red, pink or yellow tones. One of the advantages of VG Fir is that the minor color variations allow for consistency of color throughout the cabinetry design. This versatile wood has excellent dimensional stability and is tight-knotted and close-grained.
