Autodesk DWF

Autodesk has announced a major upgrade to Design Web Format (DWF), its industry-standard format for sharing complex design, engineering and mapping information. In the latest version, DWF adds support for sharing 3D models, in addition to the detailed 2D and object information it already carries. This functionality is available the upcoming release of the free, downloadable viewer software, Autodesk DWF Viewer 5, in conjunction with the upcoming release of Autodesk's mechanical design application Autodesk Inventor 9, the cornerstone of Autodesk Inventor Series.
