Millenium brand vinyl siding has been tested to withstand 180-mph winds when installed with nails and 235-mph winds when installed with staples. It nails tight to the wall and "floats" from its cables. The design allows panels to adjust as the temperature changes, which also protects it from cycles of expansion and contraction.
