Styrofoam Recovermate

The Dow Chemical Company offers a chemically resistant, lay-flat, fan-fold roofing underlayment product, called STYROFOAM RECOVERMATE brand CR insulation, for moisture-related issues in roof recovery applications. It is a rigid extruded polystyrene foam with facers that are bonded to the foam surface. It provides a desirable roofing surface for membrane application while providing protection for the new membrane from the existing substrate. The product is designed to enable the board to lay flat on the roof without ridges or buckles, providing the flat surface desirable for proper installation of the membrane.
