Bosch's UltraSpeed ribbon heating element is designed to respond 65 percent faster than conventional heating elements. The cooking zones range from 6 to 10.5 in., including a roaster-zone oval-shaped burner to accommodate all shapes and sizes of pans. There is also a spill-proof frame that prevents up to a quart of liquid from spreading to the counter to floor.
