Firecode brand acrylic firestop sealant from USG offers a high-performance, economical caulk-style firestop sealant for use on construction head-of-wall joints and in a wide variety of wall and floor through- penetrations. The water-based product is made from an elastomeric material, so it remains flexible after drying. A spray-applied version of the sealant is already available.
